Travel to school
Parking
Parent/carer parking is available, and appreciated if parents could park rear to fence in the car park when dropping off or collecting students. Parking in the bus area and along the school fence is not permitted. Parking signs are in place and should be observed to ensure the safety of our students.
Parents/carers are asked to enter and leave the school through the front gate.
Parents and carers are reminded that children are not allowed to leave the school grounds by themselves after school. We ask all adults to come into the school to collect their children and escort them safely to the car park. Students are not permitted to walk through the car park alone.
The start and end of the school day are busy times for pedestrians and drivers outside schools.
When driving and parking near our school, please:
- ensure you park safely in school zones
- follow speed signs
- do not make U-turns or 3-point turns outside the school.
Bus Travel
Eligible students can get a free travel pass under the School Student Transport Scheme. Parents can apply for a student Opal Card. Once approved, the School Opal Card will be sent to the address provided on the application. Children will be supervised until the afternoon bus arrives and are to wait with the teacher on duty.
