Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
Our school is committed to providing outstanding education for every learner in an inclusive and safe environment that values diversity and amplifies student voice. We prioritise student well-being and aim to eliminate barriers to success, ensuring equitable access to opportunities for all.
At Kurrajong East, we value strong partnerships between our school, our parents, and our community and work collaboratively to deliver outstanding educational opportunities for every student. We actively collaborate with the Hawkesbury Small School network and the Hawkesbury and Colo Learning Communities to deliver the highest level of education for our students.
We offer a wide range of engaging programs to enrich student learning and well-being, including High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) interest groups, a thriving farmyard for hands-on learning, and The Resilience Project to support mental health and personal growth. Our Aboriginal language classes celebrate and preserve indigenous culture, while students have opportunities to participate in competitions such as public speaking, Young Writers, and debating. Additionally, our students enjoy representing Kurrajong East at PSSA Gala Days, fostering teamwork and school spirit across various sports.
We believe in the power of collaboration between students, staff, families, and the wider community. Together, we build strong foundations for lifelong learning and personal success. By setting ambitious learning goals, we inspire excellence and resilience in every student. Our dedicated teachers work passionately to deliver engaging programs that cater to the unique strengths and interests of each learner, ensuring a rich and diverse educational experience.
As we continue to grow and evolve, we invite you to be an active part of our school journey, sharing in the achievements and celebrations of our students. Thank you for choosing Kurrajong East Public School. We look forward to working together to make your child’s learning journey a rewarding and memorable one for all.
